batteries are not supposed to go all the way down

It was a gift for a female neighbor. The device is larger than I anticipated. I had trouble getting the batteries in, but then I later realized why. Not only were my batteries a little larger than normal, but the device is designed so that the batteries don't go all the way down. The batteries are held in place tightly so that the batteries stay up and make contact with the metal cap plate. Otherwise, the lights will not function. I was disappointed that support at DailySale didn't get back to me when I emailed them of what I perceived as a problem with the product. I don't think that I had any enclosed information on how to get in touch with the seller.

Damaged packaging

All but one item was out of its individual packaging and almost all the cardboard was bent on corners etc. was able to place items back in pkgs. but had to use tape to hold the item in. Unable to use as gifts due to outer item damages.

OK, But...

The tool was OK; however I could tell right away cheaply made. I assume the hammer works. The belt cutter seems small and not very sharp; I don't want to have to practice to use it. Flashlight fine; however you can have one anyway. Red strobe, nice addition. Overall, 4 in 1 good concept; however actually use is questionable given cheap nature of material used. I bought it at a discount ($8) which made it OK and not worth the time/hassle to return. Full price - not worth it at all. You can have a min-hammer for $2, box cutter $1, flashlight/strobe $2 and you know they work. Value here is consolidation, not trustworthy functionality and that's what you want when you need it.
