How to Use:

Step 1: Connect the scanner to port
Step 2: Fully turn on the ignition and hit Enter on the scanner
Step 3: The device will either show "NO CODE" or the corresponding trouble code
Step 4: Look up trouble code in manual
Be sure to turn off the engine while plugging scanner in and out!

Very simple to use affordable price!

This OBD scanner more than paid for itself with one issue! My car had an intermittent electrical issue that caused the "check engine" light to come on. I am NOT an expert in automotive issues This sleek scanner was simple to use and gave me clear codes to read and look up in the included book. I googled my code results to understand them further. When I took the car into the shop, I was able to clearly communicate all this information to the mechanic, which helped him to diagnose and fix the problem on the first shot (of course, he did further testing with the more advanced equipment in the shop. I felt so much more knowledgeable and in control of the whole situation than I ever have when bringing a car to the shop before. I am definitely a satisfied customer and would recommend this OBD scanner to anyone.
